What we believe

At Restore Hope Ministries Haiti, our faith is rooted in the truth of the Gospel, and we are committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the people of Haiti and beyond. Below are the core beliefs that guide our ministry and our mission.

The Gospel of the Kingdom

We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ—the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as the substitutionary atonement in our place. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, we are offered salvation, and this salvation is found in no one but Jesus Christ. We are called to proclaim this message of hope and restoration to the world.

The Great Commission

We believe it is the duty, privilege, and calling of every believer to glorify God by actively participating in the Great Commission. Jesus Christ commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations. We are committed to fulfilling this call, starting with the corners of Haiti and extending throughout the world. Our mission is to reach, disciple, and empower people, establishing vibrant communities of faith that reflect God's love and truth.

Baptism by Immersion

We believe that Christian baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It is a testimony of the inward transformation that occurs when someone receives forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward sign of the new life we have in Christ—a life that is rooted in the hope of resurrection and eternal life.

Obedience and Perseverance

We believe that genuine faith is demonstrated through obedience and a love for Jesus Christ. True faith is not just a one-time decision but a lifelong commitment to follow Him, glorify God, and persevere in faith until the end. We are called to live lives that reflect Christ’s love, share His message, and embody His truth in all we do.

The Local Church and Discipleship

We believe in the importance of the local church as the body of Christ, called to equip believers for ministry and make disciples. We are committed to the ongoing work of discipleship—teaching people to follow Christ, growing them in faith, and sending them out to reach others. Every believer has a part to play in fulfilling God’s mission.

These beliefs guide the way we live, serve, and share the message of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about bringing the Gospel to Haiti and the world, helping others encounter Christ, and building a community that reflects His love and truth.

Local Churches Connections in Haiti

We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ become part of His Body—the universal Church—with Christ as the Head. Scripture calls believers to gather locally for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, baptism, communion, and service.

We partner with local churches to ensure those we reach are cared for spiritually long after our events, helping new believers grow in faith within a strong church community.

Hope for the Little Ones: Reaching Children During Crusade Events

As we host our crusade events, we are committed to ensuring that children are not left behind. We understand that their spiritual needs and level of understanding differ from adults, which is why we create a space just for them—a place where the message of hope is shared in ways they can grasp and remember.  Our dedicated volunteers lead children’s programs that are both fun and faith-filled. Through Christian songs, Bible stories, and hands-on craft activities, we present the Gospel in a way that connects with young hearts. These moments plant seeds of faith, helping children understand that Jesus loves them and that they are part of God’s Kingdom. As Jesus said,
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." — Mark 10:14

We believe in putting hope into action. For many of these children, even simple supplies like a pencil or notebook represent more than just tools—they are symbols of love and care. Each child who attends receives materials like pencils, crayons, and notebooks to use during activities and keep afterward for school. These supplies not only support learning but also remind them that they are seen, valued, and prayed for.

By investing in children during our crusades, we’re not just entertaining—we’re building faith, offering encouragement, and sharing a tangible expression of the hope found in Jesus.

Hope Begins with Learning

We believe that investing in education is key to building a brighter future in Haiti. By providing school supplies, supporting local teachers, and creating safe learning environments, we help equip children with the tools they need to succeed. Education opens doors to opportunity, and when paired with the hope of the Gospel, it becomes a powerful force for lasting change.
