Nego and Ellen are the dedicated directors of Restore Hope Ministries Haiti, a mission-driven organization based in Maplat. Their work focuses on transforming lives through a church and a feeding program that serves over 400 families. With over 15 years of experience, Nego has served as a missionary, youth pastor, senior pastor, and church planter, both in Haiti and Toronto. Ordained under Harvest Bible Chapel, Nego has worked with Harvest Bible Fellowship and the Canadian National Baptist Convention. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Sheffield Baptist Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Nego holds a Bachelor's in Theological Studies from North Central Theological Seminary and a certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. He is also a graduate of the Harvest Training Centre and has an advanced diploma in Adult Psychology. Over the years, Nego has made a significant impact in Haiti, planting churches, leading youth ministries, and establishing outreach programs in hospitals, prisons, and local communities. In 2008, Ellen joined Nego in Haiti during a short-term mission, and together they’ve built a legacy of discipleship and service. Ellen is an author, Christian songwriter, and recording artist, and both Nego and Ellen are passionate about teaching God’s Word and shepherding others to grow in their faith.
