Nego & Ellen Pierre Louis
Nego and Ellen are directors of Restore Hope Ministries Haiti , focused mission organization based in Maplat, where they oversee a church, a feeding program that services over 400 families. Nego has 15+ years experience working as a missionary, youth pastor, senior pastor and church planter. He is ordained and licensed under the Harvest Bible Chapel and worked as a church planter in Haiti with Harvest Bible Fellowship and Toronto with the Canadian National Baptist Convention. Pastor Nego is currently the Senior Pastor of Sheffield Baptist Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He holds a bachelor's in Theological Studies from North central Theological Seminary, along with a certificate in Christian Apologetics with Biola University. He is a graduate of the Harvest Training Centre (Elgin,IL). He has an advanced diploma in Adult Psychology with the International Career school in Canada and biblical education from Haiti. As a church planter, in Jacmel, Haiti, he worked in a large rural area establishing a youth ministry, pastoring and baptized hundreds of youth, raised up leaders, created outreach programs at local hospitals, prisons and elderly visits and hosted mission teams from all over the world for eight years and established a church today with over 500 members. In 2008 Ellen, was working on a short term mission, they would be married and joined together in the work. Ellen is an author and Christian music songwriter and recording artist. Together, they have a heart to teach and shepherd others with a deep passion for God's word and discipling others.
Meet Our whole Family
We are a small family with tons of passion and love for the work of God. Nego Pierre Louis is an ordained Pastor who longs to see his people living free from the bondage of the physical and spiritual oppression that has haunted his land for generations. Ellen Pierre Louis is a Canadian citizen and Nego Pierre Louis is a Haitian citizen, the two met on her second trip to Haiti and instantly knew God was up to something amazing. They have been married since 2009, and together continued to build upon the youth ministry Nego was already leading since 2005. They now have two young children, who who are already eager to get involved. Our family's heart is to use the gifts God has given us to bring restoration and hope to Haiti.
