Meet the Children You’re Helping
For 15 Years, Children in Rural Haiti Have Had a Place to Learn. Now They Need a Permanent Home.
In the remote community of Maplat, Commune of Belle Anse, Haiti, hundreds of children have received an education they otherwise would never have had. For more than 15 years, Restore Hope has operated a free Christian school serving families in one of Haiti’s most underserved regions. While education is not free in Haiti and access to public schools is extremely limited, our school has remained open because of faithful supporters who believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn.
Today, eight dedicated teachers serve children from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Beyond education, the school provides meals, hope, spiritual care, and a safe place for children to grow.
But after more than a decade of operating in temporary structures and tents, our school faces a critical challenge:
